Jacob Lake Inn is the only motel in the Grand Canyon north rim area which opens year round. Jacob Lake Inn has comfortable and clean rooms, ranging from the newer motel rooms with internet access to historic cabins. A couple of the cabins are pleasantly remodeled survivors of our original location at Jacob Lake on the old Jacob Canyon gravel highway. These cabins have seen generations of honeymooners, hunters, families, and friends. All the rooms have showers, heaters, and a nice porch to sit and enjoy the cool mountain breezes. In addition to those amenities, the newer motel rooms have cable television, internet access, and phones.
Located at the junction of US 89A and AZ highway 67, Jacob Lake Inn is 44 miles north of the Grand Canyon north rim. It takes about 45 minutes to drive from Jacob Lake Inn to Grand Canyon National Park North Rim entrance.
Jacob Lake Inn has a service station providing gasoline, oil changes, tire safety inspections, and light mechanic work. A country store provides groceries, baked goods, and a soda fountain. Other services include pay phones, an ATM, Showers, Travel Information for Grand Canyon north rim area and a letter drop.

Location: 44 miles from Grand Canyon North Rim
Direction: Located 30 miles south of the Utah and Arizona border at the junction of Highway 89A and Highway 67.
From Las Vegas: Drive north on I-15 till you reach the UT-9 exit- Exit 16- toward Hurricane / Zion Natl. Park. Merge onto UT-9 / W State St toward Hurricane. Look for UT-59 / E Highway 59. UT-59 / E Highway 59 becomes AZ-389. Take Highway 389 to Fredonia. At the stop sign turn right. We are located on the right 27 miles south.
From Flagstaff: Take US-89 N. to Bitter Springs. Turn Left onto US-89 A

| | Guest Rooms | Most cabin rooms at Jacob Lake Inn are non-smoking rooms with one bed (it can be double, queen, king bed). Each cabin has a shower, heater, bed, and a comfortable deck to sit on and enjoy the mountain air. The cabin area has a stone waterfall which has become a favorite birdwatching location at Jacob Lake Inn. It is beautifully landscaped with wildflowers, native grasses, shrubs, and trees. |

Breakfast at Jacob Lake Inn is fresh, generous, wholesome country food. Big steaming hotcakes (buttermilk or fresh ground whole wheat) with the best of bacon, ham, sausage and eggs cooked to order in several combinations are very popular. Guests also love our French Toast made from fresh eggs, milk, cinnamon and Jacob Lake's homemade bread. Our delicious breakfasts are a result of our generations-old recipes.
Jacob Lake Inn bakery offers several kinds of fresh, homemade pies as well as specialty cakes, both served a la mode. More modest items - homemade brownies and cookies - can be combined with ice cream and toppings to create a sumptuous sundae treat. |
