Yavapai Lodge
Yavapai Lodge has total 358 guest rooms which made it the largest lodge in Grand Canyon National Park. Yavapai Lodge is located about a half a mile from the Grand Canyon south rim. You can walk to the Grand Canyon south rim in about 10 minutes from Yavapai Lodge.
The six two-story wood buildings in Yavapai Lodge east section offer 198 rooms with in-room air conditioning, coffee, and refrigerator.
The ten single-story buildings in Yavapai Lodge west section offer 160 guest rooms that are not air conditioned but feature vaulted ceilings with ceiling fans. The Lodge is located next to the Market Plaza, which includes a general store, bank, and U.S. Post Office. The National Park Service Visitor Center is within a short walk - approximately 1/2 mile.
You will also find a coin-operated laundry within 1/2 mile of the lodge.
Yavapai Lodge features the Canyon Cafe that is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The curio shop has a wide range of gifts and a transportation / activities desk is located in the lobby. Most rooms offer two queen beds and there are also rooms with one king bed at Yavapai East. All rooms are non-smoking rooms and have television and telephone.

Yavapai West Section Lodge Rooms are non-smoking standard motel-style rooms located in 1-story buildings separate from the main lodge. The buildings are located in a quiet area 1/4 mile from the rim of the Grand Canyon, walking distance from the rim and the main lodge building. These rooms feature 2 Queen beds, full bath, TV, telephone, ceiling fan. Sleeps up to 5 people, adults or children . Rollaway or Crib OK, but greatly limits maneuverability. There is NO AIR CONDITIONING. Pets and/or cooking are not allowed in the room. Rooms have exterior entrances.
Yavapai East Section Lodge Rooms are non-smoking standard motel-style rooms located in 2-story buildings separate from the main lodge. The buildings are located in a quiet area 1/4 mile from the rim of the Grand Canyon, walking distance from the rim and the main lodge building. These rooms feature 2 Queen beds, full bath, TV, telephone, coffee maker, small refrigerator, air conditioning. Sleeps up to 5 people, adults or children . Rollaway or Crib OK. Pets and/or cooking are not allowed in the room. Rooms have interior hallway entrances. |
